Name : Cisely Blatch

In 2008, I graduated from ASA College with an Associate Degree in Business Administration, majoring in Accounting.  I always liked Accounting, and I am happy that it has become my career.  During my high school years, I got an Excellence Award in Accounting.  At ASA, I enjoyed the teachers who were always there to explain a topic which we did not understand.  The course schedules were flexible and students could utilize resources in both campus locations.

Though I had plenty of experience, I was unemployed for two years before 2008.  ASA was the motivating factor to get me back into the workforce.  It prepared me by supplying the skills needed to obtain a career, and I am thankful for that.   Now I am employed as a full-time Benefits Examiner in the Retirement Department of the Amalgamated Life Insurance Company.   I still maintain contact with ASA Career Services and Alumni Department.  They provide life-time placement assistance and help graduates with different aspects of their career.   I would like all ASA graduates to be successful and enjoy the many wonderful things life has to offer.
