Chairperson of the Division of Business Edward Kufuor Chairperson Division of Business Mr. Edward Kufuor is a candidate for a Doctoral Degree in Business Administration (DBA) with concentration in Accounting at Argosy University, Florida. He holds a Master's Degree in Finance from New York Institute of Technology (NYIT), New York, and a Bachelor's Degree (with honors) in Accounting from Norfolk State University, Virginia. He started working at ASA Institute as a part-time Instructor. He was rewarded a full-time instructor due to his hardworking ethics. Mr. Kufuor was one of the few employees at ASA who were instrumental in ASA's transition from business school to a two-year college. He was active participant in writing all the programs for the Division of Business. He also wrote the Criminal Justice program with the help of his faculty members. Mr. Kufuor is also an evaluator with ACICS (Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges & Schools. Mr. Kufuor has been in the educational system all his life. He started teaching accounting and business courses at SCS Business & Technical Institute, Brooklyn, New York, where he was also the Faculty Director. He also taught Accounting in the Continuing Education Department at New York City Technical College, Brooklyn, New York, and at St. Joseph College. Mr. Edward Kufuor is a member of the American Accounting Association, American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers, National MBA, National Dean's List, and Spartan Alpha Tau and Alpha Kappa Mu. Through the dint of hard work, he was adjudged the Best Faculty Member of the Years 1992, 2004, and 2005. |
