Career Services start from your Day 1 at ASA. Our goal is to assist with your career development first as a student and then as an ASA alumnus. The Placement and Career Services Office offers many services including: â—Š Career counseling â—Š Career-related seminars & events â—Š Lifetime Placement Assistance for all qualified graduates â—Š Job fairs and on-campus recruiting â—Š Resume reviews â—Š Videotaped mock interviewing workshops â—Š Lifetime learning program (refresher courses) â—Š Fax service for students Plus, as a student, you'll benefit from: * The freshman skills seminar: As a student, you'll create and maintain an electronic portfolio, which houses your class work, externship projects, resume, cover letters, and specially-created projects. Upon graduation, you'll use this portfolio in the job interview process. * A guaranteed externship: An important part of your career preparation, an externship provides you with the opportunity to explore your desired career, gain marketable work experience and make professional connections while you're still at ASA.  |
