Carlos Ramirez-Drug and Alcohol Treatment Specialist

On Tuesday April 20th, 2010 - The Alumni Association hosted a Lunch and Learn.  The guest speaker was Carlos Ramirez from U.S. Pretrial Services.   He discussed his career plans prior to becoming a drug and alcohol treatment specialist and the path that lead to his career with pretrial services.  During demonstrations of sample collecting containers, graduates asked questions regarding the various duties, educational requirements and qualifications needed to be successful in the field.

Marling CASAC_MCNY

The group also welcomed Marling Sone, Coordinator of the CASAC Program at MCNY, she provided useful information regarding the CASAC program and the Credentialing process.   After the meeting attendees networked with the guest speakers and everyone enjoyed light refreshments of Subway sandwiches and beverages provided by the Alumni Association.
