Lacrosse Coach- Vince DanielsVince Daniels is ASA's first men's lacrosse coach. Coach Daniels comes to ASA following ten seasons as a member of New York University's coaching staff. He was the Violets head coach from 2002-2007 where he was responsible for all aspects of the lacrosse program including game strategy, player development, conditioning, recruiting, scouting and scheduling. He was the assistant coach/defensive coordinator from 2008 - 2011. While at NYU, Coach Daniels helped build the program into a playoff contender. NYU received an at-large bid to the National College Lacrosse League playoffs for the 2011 season and finished ranked 18th in the NCLL Division II Warrior Lacrosse poll. He was also Director of the NY Metro Conference of the NCLL for the 2011 season. Coach Daniels is a graduate of Hofstra University. He received an athletic scholarship to the NCAA Division I lacrosse program where he was a defenseman from 1987-1990. He was a member of Hofstra's 1988 and 1989 East Coast Conference championship teams. |
