Even before her graduation from the Medical Assisting program in 2004, Ann Marie was already hired at ASA Institute to be the Assistant to the Vice President of Government and Community Relations. In this position, she helps develop and maintain relations with public officials and community leaders with whom ASA undertakes joint initiatives. Ann Marie also helps organize a number of annual special and periodic events such as the graduation ceremony, the Freshmen Skills seminars, and Holiday celebrations. She is also a member of the Committee on Leadership, Governance, and Administration for ASA’s self-study to become accredited by the Middle States Commission. Ann Marie is a member of the Executive Committee for ASA’s Alumni Association and holds the office of Secretary; March 2010 will be her sixth anniversary at ASA.
